Confocal 3-Channel Image. Cultured DRG neurons from P2 rat were stained for tubulin (red) and
exocyst (green). |

Confocal 3-Channel Image. Rat neonatal blood cells in culture stained with Nestin antibody. Neonatal blood cells from green fluorescent protein (GFP) transgenic rat are collected, processed, and cultured in growth factor containing media. Some of the attached cell express Nestin marker (Red). |

Confocal 3-channel Image. Beta IV spectrin (red) staining of rat DRG neuron in vitro showing the initial segments of axon which eventually become myelinated (green) by Schwann cells during nerve development. Contactin associated protein receptor (CASPR, white) concentrated at the node of Ranvier along with beta IV spectrin. Confocal projected image. |

Confocal 2-Channel Image. Co-culture of enteric glia (EG) cells and embryonic dorsal root ganglia (DRG) neurons stained with beta-III-tubulin. EG cells isolated from green fluorescent protein (GFP) rat are co-cultured with DRG neurons for 2 weeks. EG cells (GFP, green) ensheath DRG neuron process (beta-III-tubulin, red) which leads to myelination. |

Confocal 2-Channel Image. Imaged with 63xC-Apochromat at zoom factor 3. Scale bar, 5 mm. The spiral structure of CASPR (green) staining during nerve development is the overlying ends of the myelinating glial cell(purple). This eventually will become compacted at the node of Ranvier.
